Experts say that an artificial intelligence (AI) program can use a'secret language' to turn classic paintings into diverse art styles or produce completely new artwork from text inputs.
Artificial Intelligence Lab OpenAI's text-to-image program DALL-E 2 was published last month and is capable of creating several realistic images and artwork from a single text prompt.
It has the ability to add things to existing photographs and even provide new viewpoints on them.
After learning that obscene phrases produce certain pictures, researchers believe they have figured out how the technology works.

DALL-E 2 was used by computer scientists to create photographs with text by asking for 'captions' or'subtitles.' The images that result appear to have a random series of letters. When Giberish was entered into the programme, it produced a single subject image. 'Two whales discussing about food, with subtitles' on the left, 'Wa ch zod ahakes rea' on the right.
DALL E 2 can restyle renowned paintings or create entirely new works of art based on a single word prompt. Algorithms can communicate with each other using a'secret language.'
Girl in the Pearl Earring by Dutch Golden Age painter Johannes Vermeer is an example of this.
Giannis Daras, a computer science PhD student, first used the programme to create photographs with text rather than 'captions' or'subtitles.'
The images that resulted appeared to contain a random sequence of characters.
When he returned the letters to the app, however, he discovered that it had generated photographs of the same subject or setting, indicating that they were not at all random.
If you search in 'Vicootes,' for example, you'll get a series of AI-generated images of vegetables and birds called 'Apoploe vesrreaitars.'
