Last year, Microsoft stated that it was doubtful that Windows 11 would ever be supported on Mac or M1, thus enthusiasts are hoping for unofficial support. As a result, according to developer Arminder Singh, who is working on a project to make this feasible, it may soon be possible to run Microsoft's Windows 11 natively on Apple M1 and other Apple Silicon gear. However, it is still early in the game.  For those unfamiliar with the Asahi Linux project, it is a similar effort aimed at running Linux on Apple silicon.
