Before her official trailer was published on June 17, Nilah, The Joy Unbound, had been teased for several weeks. Her trailer depicts her sprinting through the Rift with the help of a water demon who grants her the ability to use her skills. When can League of Legends players expect to play as Nilah?

Nilah has yet to receive an official release date. It's also unclear when she'll be visiting the PBE. Her release to the PBE could happen as soon as Wednesday, June 22, though Riot has yet to confirm this. If she does hit the PBE on Wednesday, she will most likely be released on July 13, when Patch 12.13 is released.
Nilah is expected to join the League of Legends team as the first (official) melee ADC. Her gameplay, which appears to revolve around her water whip, is shown in her trailer. Her abilities appear to include a dash, a blocking ability for crowd control and missiles, and a pull-in ability for foes around her.

According to insiders, the new bot lane champion will arrive in the Summoner's Rift with Patch 12.13.
